This is a great opportunity to join students from across America and around the world to present research on language. The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is located in Arlington, Texas, situated between Dallas and Fort Worth. Arlington is easily accessible by two major airports: DFW and Love Field. Discounted hotels in Arlington will be available for the conference, and some limited space will be available to stay with students on a first come, first served basis. 2nd Call for Papers: Conference and Presentation Details: Papers for this conference are invited in all areas of linguistics and TESOL. Students from any educational institution are strongly encouraged to submit their research and share their discoveries in the field. Presenters can choose between oral and poster presentations. Oral presentations will last 20 minutes with 5 minutes for discussion and questions. An allotment of time will be set aside for poster presentations and discussion. Poster and oral presentations are considered, accepted, and judged as equal counterparts, and the best presentations will be awarded the Yumi Nakamura Memorial Prize in Linguistics, which is a cash prize. Abstract Requirements and Details: The deadline for submission is Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. Notification of acceptance will be distributed in December 2014. Abstracts should be a single page of 500 words in at least 12-point font, with one additional page allowed for graphs and/or references. Electronic submissions (.pdf formart) are required.
