Keynote Speaker: Professor Judith Ortiz Cofer, Regents' and Franklin Professor of English and Creative Writing, University of Georgia, Athens, Georgia..
Panel proposals and paper abstracts are invited on all aspects of language arts pedagogy that are related to best practices in teaching. Undergraduates and graduate students are encouraged to submit papers. Abstracts are limited to a maximum of 250 words. Brief bios of 175 words are required. Electronic submissions are requested. Presentations should be limited to 15 minutes.Panels are limited to four (4) presenters per panel. Papers and panels are solicited on:
□ All aspects of studying literature (including business and literature, bullying as a theme in literature)
□ Creative writing/ Creative writing pedagogy
□ Composition pedagogy
□ Teaching foreign languages
□ Communication with an international focus
□ Teaching online/Videography for teaching

The registration fee for the fiction workshop and conference is $25 for faculty members. The fee is waived for undergraduates and graduate students .
Food: Light refreshments will be served in the mornings. Lunch on the second day will be on your own.
